CESA & FC Phoenix Unite
Columbus, OH - January 7, 2010 -
CESA (Columbus East Soccer Association) & FC Phoenix have reached an agreement to integrate their programs and forge a partnership. Beginning this spring all FC Phoenix select games will be held at The Value City Furniture Fields at Easton. The new alliance was forged this winter with the basic objective of enriching both the CESA recreational programs and the FC Phoenix select program.
"We are extremely excited about the potential impact this partnership can have on improving and expanding the soccer experiences of players at all ages.", stated Herb Bresler, CESA Board President. According to James Field, Director of Coaching & Operations, "This alliance will strengthen two organizations already noted for their superior service to youth soccer and offers us the opportunity to offer quality soccer programs to more communities on the east and south sides of Columbus."
While both organizations will remain independent entities, terms of the arrangement will provide for a more extensive integration of our respective resources and activities.

About CESA (Columbus East Soccer Association)
The Columbus East Soccer Association (CESA) is a not-for-profit, 501C(3) organization that was established in 1984 to serve communities in the East and Southeast areas of Columbus. With our move to the Value City Furniture Fields at Easton in September, 2000; we now also serve communities in the North and Northeast areas of the city. CESA is a member of Ohio South Youth Soccer Association (OSYSA), an affiliated member of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), the principal governing body of soccer in America.
CESA is an independent association founded on the basic principle that the game should be FUN, SAFE, and DEVELOPMENTAL in nature. We constantly strive to provide our members a family-friendly environment in which everyone (players, parents, coaches and officials) can learn the game and develop a life-long appreciation for it.
The League offers programs for players age 4 through high school. All games are played at the Value City Furniture Fields at Easton, a 45 acre complex that is part of the Easton Town Center Development area, near the intersection of Morse and Sunbury Roads
